*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

It's not slight, I can see it in all 4 corners whilst in any app, really annoying. If it was ony slight and only viewable in certain conditions then yes I would deal with it but when you've spent so much and other devices can get it right you expect it to be perfect.

Got mine today, Seal was broken and the box was damaged, Tablet looks new but not sure why the sea had to be broken. Will check everything now, lets hope I don't have the dreaded screen bleed.

Beautiful it won't connect to any secure wifi, had to tether it to my phone to get through the initial setup and then use a static ip for it to connect to work's wifi. zzz not a good start.

Excessive light bleed IMO:

This is going back.

It's almost like Google don't want their Nexus tabs to sell, both this and the N7 have had a lot of problems which seem purely down to Google trying to drive the price down and push them out the door as quickly as possible half finished or not.
Even then they still can't keep up with demand, probably down to the amount going back!

I was having problems with Cordy. It was constantly pulling to the right and when I tested the gyroscope with an app its completely messed up and not in sync with my phone which is perfect. Think it could be a compatibility problem as temple run is fine.

Shocking. glad i got the ipad tbh and i am a massive android fan. very gutted to see these issues. unacceptable imo

The worst thing is I've got an N7 which has no issues and it really is a brilliant tablet, if only they could have sorted all the glaring problems before launch.

Well some on here have had units with very acceptable levels of bleed, so it's not like it's effecting all units. It is a shame though.

I feel like lots of the QC is out of Google's hands with their Nexus range unfortunately. I am looking forward to see how Motorola progresses in the future under Google control. We should start to really see MotoGoogle products this year so it will be interesting to see how they do when 100% of the process is controlled effectively by themselves.

At least the replacement process is painless. Just got the RMA reference. I can put up with a bit of light bleed but it's just all over the screen.

Just wait until your replacement is just as bad.
And then the one after that.
Then you give up and just want a refund but you have to constantly chase up the shipping documents/envelope.
Then the waiting for them to acknowledge receipt of the return.
Then waiting weeks for them to actually refund the money into your account.

After the debacle I had with my Nexus 7 I promised I wouldn't bother buying a device direct from Google again. The above doesn't factor in the fact that they lost one of my replacements, tried to disable the device I was currently using instead of the lost replacement and then tried to say I wasn't entitled to a refund because I had then gone out of their "refund window".

Unfortunately, I broke that promise with both the Nexus 4 and 10. 4 is fine thankfully but the 10 was sent back over a week ago and I'm still waiting for them to acknowledge the return.

Ouch, their support definitely isn't up to much...

Guess buying their tablets seems a bit of a gamble, was dicing with whether I should grab a N10 or not. Will probably give this one a miss. Thankfully I have had no problems with my N4 and am really happy with it.

That's scary... I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens.

The backlight bleed is really a big shame... It's puzzling and disappointing for an otherwise stellar tablet.

I don't buy that it is the price of the unit, there did not seem to be so many problems with the N7.
