Nexus 5 leaked

N5 looks nice, bigger screen, smaller body, crazy hardware. And it seems like it will have a beefy camera.

The battery being rumor'd at 2300mha is slightly worrying, I was hoping for atleast 2600.

Also Google is finally calibrating it's screens and the N7 is showing just how good it is, was rated as the best tablet screen by anandtech and equal with the iPad 4.

Actually bought an N7 (ended up taking it back but that's a different matter), the display was ever so slightly less saturated than the iPad but aside from that it was absolutely fantastic. Hopefully the N5 will step up to the mark considering that the N4 display does look rather washed out compared to the competition (and these so-called "calibrations" in the custom ROM scene are ridiculous).

I used my N10 with O2's TU Go app. It was painful :(.

5" is pretty much the max to be honest, having a phone that's more comfortable in one hand compared to just about gripping feels more right when calling.

Go join O2 and use their TU Go app if you want to use the N7 as a phone :p.

Seems quite good if the phone is still around the N4's size, even with the bigger screen. It did look quite big in the man's hands though...

To be honest I find the app fully useless. Can't stand the tugo app!

Honestly though I may just grab an n7 LTE from work and do that, but that means I'm still paying for my phone contract, even if it's basic simo for 11 quid from o2, and having to pay for Lte data for the n7,which o2 don't do yet and their mobile broadband simos are pathetic to put it lightly.

I fully get why people prefer something that can be used single handedly, but I will say that even the Galaxy mega fits pockets fine, though my pockets are larger than the average as I am larger than the average. And putting a phone that size to the ear is insane, but I airways use headphones with a mic, so basically massive phablets work perfectly for me. Again I realise I'm the 0.001% but hey, why not dream haha.

I don't how ever understand the hate for big screens, try and use a small screen again after going bigger, like going back to the iPhone screen or the HTC Desire screen, hell even the s2 screen.... All feel nastily tiny.

Getting the xperia ultra soon at work though, that will be fun!

Yeah some of the custom ROMs just boost the saturation to stupid numbers, its much better to just do it yourself using an app (I use Franco Kernel). The screen itself is the same as the Optimus G which viewed very well but Google just didn't give a **** at the time. But now there fixing up at least.

I'm mostly excited it is actual a bit smaller, I find the N4 is the perfect size for my hands, and I have been using a bumper lately and it has made it just a bit too big for me to use it in 1 hand comfortably so its naked again.

LG rep came today and and couldn't confirm that LG are making the next nexus, now being in mind the Samsung, Sony abs htc rep all said no. I'm sure it isn't bb or Nokia making it. But has said that if LG are making i, it will be less sieved and less powerful than the g2

Get an ovivo data sim.

The front doesn't look any different to the current Nexus4. They state the camera has changed and an improvement on the antenna. Camera improvement is welcome, but the signal I receive is impressive, would be nice if it was 4G upgrade? The devices sound needs to be improved the most, if they have done that I'll consider a purchase provided prices are similar to the Nexus 4 last year

Looks like a prototype, but so far it really gives off a Nexusy feeling. The camera looks a fair bit larger, do you think they could have improved the camera quality?

I think it might be fake casing similar to how Samsung does. The camera Lens also looks huge so here's hoping it might be something similar to the.

Battery life should also be a lot better thanks to the S800, Anandtech quoted it as a big factor in the G2 awesome battery life.

Will probably be looking to going onto Virgin Mobile* when I get to the states... unfortunately they don't do Nexus phones and apparently you can't use your own :-( gutted.

*Virgin because most other carriers rip you off in the states.

Apparently there might be a Verizon variant of the N5.
