If you want something decent with good coverage, support, updates etc you have to go with one of the top 3, Verizon, At&t or Sprint.

Well, someone's interpretation of what it might look like is pretty boring, yes. But it's only based on photos we have seen so far, which probably show prototype models anyway.

The Sony's look nice but there not comfortable at all in the hand. For me the new Nexus really has to have a great camera or else I'm going to drop it like its hot and most likey get the next set of GPE phones.

If rumours are true then im getting one the day they are up for order. 5 inch screen, 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800, Adreno 330, 2GB RAM and a 2300 MAh battery.

Win all round as far as I can see.

I think the battery is a little on the small side for a 5" device. The S800 is meant to be really good with battery saving (read anandtech review of the g2). I would like something built similar to the N7 2013 it feels solid and very comfy in the hand.

i doubt Google would do that after the issues they had with the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon such as having to have the updates approved by Verzion and delaying the OS updates.

Seems fine for my wife using it for the past few months on an iPhone 4S. We use the unlimited data to Skype and it seems fine.

But I digress... the comment was more that I couldn't get the nexus with them.
