Nexus 5 leaked

I am very interested in this but I would also like to see a HUGE update for Chrome on android. At the moment it has so much promise but quite a few irritating bugs. I would love it for those to be resolved (e.g. the text size being inconsistent across this forum).

I probably will end up getting the 16Gb version when its released. Atleast then i can go back to my favorite rom ParanoidAndroid!

Camera looks promising if its based on the LG. Should be a good phone but probably not the best looking.

The only reason I would update from the n4 is for a better camera. Everything else is a bonus; bigger screen, better music playback and no glass back would be appreciated.

'Leaked' benchmarks looking good http://gfxbench.com/device.jsp?benchmark=gfx27&D=Google+Nexus+5&testgroup=overall

From Techradar:

The first test, '2.7 T-Rex HD Offscreen', takes devices to their limits to test their graphics performance and the Nexus 5 came away with a score of 23.1fps.
To put that into perspective, that's an identical score to the Sony Xperia Z1, substantially higher than the Samsung Galaxy S4 (which averaged 17.2fps) and only marginally worse than the iPhone 5S, which completed the test with an average score of 24.7fps.
The other test that the Nexus 5 has completed is '2.5 Egypt HD Offscreen'. As with the first benchmark, it tests the phones graphics capabilities, but it's not quite so intensive.
That's highlighted in the 59.2fps score the Nexus 5 received, which topped the Samsung Galaxy S4's score of 43.9fps and even the iPhone 5S, which managed 56.7fps. Though it did marginally worse on this test than the Sony Xperia Z1, which scored 60.6fps.

I'm sorely tempted to switch to this from my GS4, I don't really use any TW based features and I like the stock android feel on my N7. Plus now I use Google Music to stream everything I don't have the need for serious amounts of storage.

Not sure what you mean by the text size being inconsistent ? Looks fine with chrome with adjusted DPI settings on paranoid android.

Hah, so the solution is to root your phone and install another ROM.

Isn't that just a fantastic solution.

I really want to love Android, but I'm just tired of the experience on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, so I shall not be bothering with another Android device.

What aspect of the experience are you tired with? It's just that I upgraded from a GNexus to a Nexus 4 about three weeks ago (I know, I'm pretty behind the times) and it "refreshed" my feelings for Andoid a bit. My GNexus was starting to annoy me, bugging out on Maps, navigation etc, but the Nexus 4 is a far smoother experience.

I admit, the text size thing is my biggest problem with Android (Chrome) at the moment.
