*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

They really need to fix the video recording static sounds and video auto focus not working bugs. Two issues that are very annoying and not really looking to get resolved any time soon. Google just seem to have gone quiet.

Maybe they are intending to completely overhaul the camera software/API, so it was deemed of little importance to fix the bugs. :p

I think they would have fixed it by now if they could. Surely they don't wish to annoy their customers that much?

But then they've had a fix for the camera battery drain bug that a lot of people have experienced for a few weeks and have stated they won't be releasing that until the next major release.

Anyone here running Cyanogemod 11 M4 on theirs?

I miss CM features from me Nexus 1. Currently on stock firmware, looking to jump ship

I can't comprehend that. I assume you are saying they will fix it?

I'm saying they have fixed it but they won't be rolling out a stand alone patch, it's waiting in the wings until their next big OTA release if that makes sense.

So my HTC One X has pretty bad battery life and i am selling it.

My replacement will be the N5 or the LG G2.

What is stopping me is the reports of the battery life on the N5.

Is it really that bad folks?

In my very short experience with the phone (one week) no, battery life has been good. But I have upgraded from a GS2 and that had awful battery life.

However one of the LG G2's plus points is it's battery life.
