*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

Phone does seem to charge quick. Which indicates to me a small capacity battery (or maybe the charger is passing through a higher charge)

How do we get the most from Google now?

For example I was going out last night and wanted to see when the next bus would arrive. However Google now wasnt displaying the travel cards....

(Yes I know I can see it on the bus stand or on the lcd display) but this was just a test.

Anyone elses charger buzz when you remove it from the mains?

my charger on my n4 which is properly the same buzzed.. dont use good now, have it disabled. battery is not the biggest but phone lasts a day for me all the time

The size is just something you get used to. After a month the screen on your S2 will seem a bit small.

I remember going from an iPhone 4S to a Galaxy S4. Wow that screen was huge. After a week looking back at the 4S the screen was tiny. 5" is kinda the smallest I will goto now. If a phone is thin enough the size of it doesn't bother me all that much.

I feel my nexus 5 is too small now I was thinking this size would be my max, but now I reckon somewhere in between 5-5.5 inches is the sweet spot for me.

There is a point where it will become silly big but I don't know when that is, I would really need to test drive a bigger device for a couple of weeks.

I agree with everyone. 5 inches on my nexus 5 doesn't seem big at all and I have small hands. I think the point it becomes silly is the samsung galaxy mega and htc max. Those are too big for a phone to me.

So... my phone after a drunken night out...

What's the quickest/easiest way to root the nexus 5 and flash a kernel? I've only ever flashed/rooted samsung phones so it is a bit confusing.

Thanks in advance
