Some people just think if a screen is bright and warm like the cartoons they watch its better.

This is why I have gravity box, so I can get a lot more toggles in the notification settings area, one of which is rotation lock. Google should have really put more settings in there, cleaned it up so holding takes you too the settings page and click is a toggle that is just stupid.
why they didn't make the toggles switch things on/off ill never know!
So much love for Samsung here I see....
I like samsung's. Had most of them colours are OTT if you ask me. But still good phones.
Easily adjustable though to give that LCD feel
Falling on deaf ears unfortunately...
Tunnel vision at it's finest.
I'll take more accurate colours over a slight boost in contrast at this price point. It would be nice to have my cake and eat it, but you have to be realistic.

I'd rather pay more for a better screen - what's an extra 20 quid?
And there are phone's cheaper that have better...

If we're being realistic, the S5 has the most accurate colours according to various tests of any smartphone available at the moment.
The S5 was released at the same time or before the Nexus 5? Fancy newer tech giving better results, who'd have thought it?
There are phones which do have similar, better or even on par screens as the N5 which came out around the same time and even before the N5.
Your post was clearly aimed at the Samsung displays so just thought I'd throw that in there.
