Yeah, that's right....what I'm saying is, I wish it had the option to take the snap in 16:9 mode

Ahh, my bad, I believe most new Android devices do include 16:9 as either default or an options, and I think there are also apps that give you 16:9 shooting options.

Yo bros, just an update on my previous post. I ordered a replacement screen for my phone after it broke and it eventually arrived from china.

After following a couple of youtube clips it turned out to be very simple process and cost 65 quid. The phone is now back in its old case where it will stay!!

2 things to watch out for:
a) The thin wires going down the side of the battery are fragile so do not yank on them!
b) Double check whether the replacement comes with volume and power buttons!! I realized at the end and had to go back a couple of steps to slot them in.

Got mine at the start of January. I'm still really happy with it. I've never gotten on with Android in the past but 4.4 and being stock has changed my mind massively. I really hope that the rumours of no more Nexus are not true

Guys what protection do you use on your Nexus 5? I was thinking of buying a slim hardcase for the back and screen protector (which one though and do they really work?) at the front.

A screen protector and this case.
I like my phone naked and find this setup works best for me. If it wasn't this it would be the slimmest case I could find.

Nexus 5 certainly does feel nice while 'naked', but these cases were you slide your phone in annoy me...

I think this setup would be better suited for me -

I've got a spigen case which is fantastic very unobtrusive - but a glass protector would be great.

I got mine today, again super simple to apply, its basically perfect, and it feels really nice. Love it. I had prime so I order it yesterday and got it today. I've dropped the phone a few times before and I have a few very faint scratches.

Mine arrived today . £215 and it's still basically brand new but opened. Still has the stock screen protector and the sim card tool was untouched. Loving it so far.

Aye, a 32GB for that price would be a steal. I'm more than happy to grab a micro sd adapter if I find myself needing more room so I'm happy enough with he 16GB model. Really happy with the price anyway, especially as it's essentially brand new.
