Tried to get a range of photos for you.

Seems to be quite stable, I don't get the occasional bug reports I had been getting :) Doesn't feel quite as smooth as 4.4.4, there is defo a wee pause before the launcher kicks in.

whats the best way to install the update if I'm rooted with Teamwin on 4.4.3? The update has appeared OTA, but when I install, it just loads Teamwin. Rebooting here keeps the version at 4.4.3.

I'm guessing just NRT it with the new 4.4.4 zip?

Just installed the Android L preview. Then updated the apps, camera etc.

Thinking about it ... was installing those "updates" actually a downgrade to the normal N5 versions?

do all the core functions work ok? Cell radios etc?

I'm having issues with my data connection switching off as with 4.4.2 but the issue manifests itself much worse than before. Once the data turns off it never comes back unless I turn airplane mode on and off again.

Even 4.4.4 didn't fix my radio issue so I think I have a defective handset now.

EDIT: All L users don't forget to report issues here.

Still no battery percentage on L?

This is one thing I would love. It's so simple and essential imo, cant believe google would omit it. They have a built in alarm clock but no battery %?

I remember waiting ages for Samsung to put this on my GS2 and was over joyed when it finally was pushed out. I know there are 3rd party apps which can do this, but I believe it's a core essential.

Having used Android L for a full day yesterday I can say its pretty solid. some apps need updating, my default video play MXplayer was buggy but DicePlayer has been update for Android L support so the preview is working well :P.

Yesterday I watch 1.30hours of media on Dice player, spent around 30mins navigating with Google maps, usually social jazz although Facebook white popup boxes dont have a background e.g the comments box. took quiet a few photos, generally data. And I got a solid amount of battery, reached 15% at 2am (off charge 10am the day before) and I had 3.30hours of screen time.

Android L has a whole feels smoother, animations are really polished and I feel this helps things feel faster. UI changes I like as a whole, I think everything being slightly lightler and a bit more playful gives the OS a more joyful experience. Compared too all the black UI we had before.

Things look very promising so far, few apps are still buggy and broken but hopefully this is a new Android where things are updated very promptly and developers can get excited about all the new awesome UI features and APIs they have.
