Pure android - since moving from Samsungs I haven't felt the need to custom ROM it as it is just so good.

I still can't look past Purity Mod, it's basically Pure Android, just with some tweaks for stupid stuff that's missing, like Battery%, proper toggles in the notifications pull down, ways to turn on a torch (I have replaced the GNow pulling up from the bottom of the screen with a torch) etc.

That tourch pulling up is a good idea as long as you don't turn it on in your pocket and blow the led

Most of this can be done with Xposed modules, which is what I use now. I like custom roms but it does mean your in the world off updating your phone quiet often, and at times its not as stable as things are on stock. You also have a longer wait time for Googles updates, I got 4.4.4 for example hours after it dropped since I just need to wait for a rooted version, with a custom rom that could be days or even weeks depending on how big the changes are.

Quick questions. My Nexus 5 has been acting up and I think the battery or the charge port is messed. It takes 7-10hours to full charge and I'm not sure why, ive tried wiping the device, charging while its off and still takes forever. I've had the device off for 3 hours now and charging and its only at 19%.

Thinking to call Google and just wanted to ask quickly does it matter that I've unlocked my bootloader and rooted?

Supposedly Lollipop. It's been known to change though, 4.4 was Key-Lime-Pie up until the last minute when Kit-kat came in.

Assuming Android carries on with its confectionary theme we could have: Lamington, Layer Cake, Lemon Cake, Lebkuchen, Lincoln biscuit, Linzer torte, Lattice or Leipziger Lerche.

My money is on Lattice.

I've done some testing and I think somethings mess with my USB port. I can transfer Data/charge but its extremely slow. Full charge took me 10hours+ last night but just now on a wireless charger at work and I can get it full in 1hours and 30mins~ so the battery is fine at least.

Looks like I will have to call Google and see what they can work out, rather not send my phone in for repairs but it looks like that is what will happen.

Are you using the stock camera app, this has also been the case for the Nexus 5. Maybe you could have changed some settings somewhere.
