Haven't tried it yet but I doubt it will since USB can't provide any higher than 500ma, ac goes over 1000ma, unless it is just a display bug so it is actually charging via ac....

The n7 charger is being detected as a USB connection instead of ac despite being plugged into the wall. Can see the type of charge when you go to battery info and check the day graph.
 
Been using a matte screen protector for the last few weeks and must say it is pretty damn good!

- feels great, kind of like paper
- leaves no fingerprints or greasy/smear marks at all! Unless your hands/fingers/thumbs (:p) are really bad...
- reduces the glare/reflection significantly
- blacks look better

Only downside is it does make the screen a bit more grainy

Which one are you using? I had a Mediadevil one on my iPhone 5 when I had that and was fairly impressed.... Never bothered so far with anything on the N5.
 
Yeah I didn't want to spend £5+ on the other brands as I didn't think I would keep them on for more than a day but was pleasantly surprised with these! Very easy to apply and didn't have any issues with air bubbles etc. on my first application.

I also ordered some for my nexus 7 2013 but couldn't get the same brand and couldn't find any decent cheapish ones so just got techgear matte SP's for it, not as good as the N5 samar matte SP's. I have 2 large air bubbles on the very bottom edge, rest of the screen is ok though so I'm happy enough :p

In the future, I will probably go with anker brand as they seem to be better...
 
Any indication of the Nexus 6/X/ whatever its called yet? Google seems to be full of the same websites apparently recently updated but actually with nothing new on them?
