*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

I have to wrestle with Samsung OLED's to get them to show true colours rather than an overblown mess and crushing blacks (even when using Samsung's varying colour presets). It completely ruins videos and photos on the devices for me :(

My N7 2013 has an amazing display out of the box.

The Nexus 4 screen was really lacking indeed by default. It could be improved massively with custom roms and tweaks, however the viewing angles were still a bit off.

By all accounts it sounds like they nailed it with the N5 screen though, not heard anything negative about it yet.

Yeh, I did fix it with a custom Rom, but the blacks where still lacking and like you said viewing angles just failed, notice it most when I'm in bed.

Nexus5 from every pic I have seen seems amazing, the G2 screen reviewed really well and was close enough to the HTC One.

No movement on mine, even so my nearest depot is 40 miles from me.

What time did you order yours?

Each to their own bud, I think Samsung is as close as ever to my perfect mobile screen with the Note 3.

i think sometimes they load it into the vans ready for monday?
 
Quick update. I live in East London currently at East London depot loaded on to van. I've known previously with ParcelFarce they load it on van and deliver later. Possibility delivery tomorrow but if not then deffo Monday. I've had bad experiences with them in the past.
 
All parcels received in our depot during Friday night and Saturday morning will be loaded to our delivery vehicles, and show this status, whether they are due for delivery on Saturday or Monday.
When the sender has chosen and paid for the Saturday delivery service, we will deliver your parcel today. Deliveries on a Saturday are between 7am and 2pm. However, if the sender has not chosen the Saturday delivery service, then we will deliver your parcel on Monday (except for Bank Holidays / Public Holidays).

Better ring them up and see if I can find out. I am also going to ask if I can go pick it up if it is Monday delivery. It's Not far away :)

I don't think its unreasonable to expect Saturday delivery for £9.99
They should release new phones on a Monday, then its got all week to get to you.
