When i add two recipients in hangouts to sms it defaults to MMS and i cant change it, and as i dont have MMS on contract its a pain, it keeps retrying to send wont let me delete until it gives up.
Why cant we have group sms natively in Android.

This appears to be a common thing on Android handsets, not just the Nexus range.

I use handcent to group text all my staff never had an issue.

Yea, it only seems to apply to default sms app, handcent and go sms are work arounds.

Yes i noticed it on my N4, its quite a hassle tho having to use another app, esp as they are trying to integrate sms in hangouts etc.

I'm attempting to resign the Cyanogenmod MMS apk with the latest API level so I can have the regular text app with the carriage return key present as well. If it works I'll post a link here if anyone is interested?

Coming from my trusty gnex, this is one hell of an upgrade, screen is gorgeous, just starting to play with it.
Camera seems good, I've taken a few shots and the sphere function is cool
Filming looks good, there is a time lapse function. I haven't seen a slo-mo function.

Voda did mine in store free of charge no questions asked. Number port was instant, quite happy
