Brilliant, apart from the fact it doesn't work in 5.

I used the one called, "battery percent for kitkat/L" it works

That works fine. :)

For some reason it doesn't appear when I search for it on my phone, but installed fine when installed from a browser. :)

The only major feature I'm missing is a means of automatically managing device profiles now. Why have they removed it?
Edit: :( It looks like it was a Mahdi-ROM feature. Thought it was built into Kitkat.

Use either these commands in adb

adb shell content insert --uri content://settings/system --bind name:s:status_bar_show_battery_percent --bind value:i:1

Followed by

adb reboot

Or download a program from the app store called percent enabler.

Right my first few hours with the phone this morning iv had 2 hours SOT on adaptive brightness with it set at 40% of the slider (why can i still move the slider on adaptive??). Im still at 84% and iv been on wifi and 3g along with poweramp playing music via BT in my car. Battery life is very impressive im running Franco Kernel R67 along with FKU -50mv and greenifying and disabling any apps i don't use.

Must admit the percentage thing is bugging me for visibility i liked my old circle with a number in middle. But i suppose thats a waiting game for Xposed and more so the support for greenifying sms apps Xposed brings

I found a nasty bug for those that use Cerberus.
If you swap to another User it disables Cerberus and when you switch back to your profile it defaults all your setting i.e the dial pad code to get in to settings if you have hidden it from app drawer.
I messaged the dev and he said it will be fixed.
So if someone nicks your phone all they have to do is change user and you cannot interact with your phone.

So with the 32gb model out of stock in the UK play store and elsewhere it seems plausible that they've run down kitkat stock so that they can start selling lollipop stock.

Hopefully this coincides with a price drop!

I doubt the OS version is anything to do with it, since they will update pretty much out of the box.

The problem with that is it doesn't show the percentage when the phone is charging. Also, it's quite small and difficult to see - I prefer it along side.

Sideloaded the OTA update onto my N5 the other day. Liking it so far, not keen on the new lock screen - I don't really want all my notifications on there as I was quite happy with the widgets instead and being able to pick what I want there.

Is there a way to hide certain notifications from the lock screen?

The loss of RemoteControlClient is annoying, as I liked controls on there whilst casting. I don't think many apps have updated to use MediaSession yet :(

I think it was something to do with the code within kitkat; not able to be subjected to any sort of possible change with regards to the text colour.

God only knows why, it's not like it was NASA mission critical that the text/battery icon remain white for any reason?!

You can hide the contents of the notification, but you'll still have the pop up saying you have a notification

settings ---> sound+notifications ---> when device is locked ---> don't show notifications at all

You can also hide ones totally.

settings ---> sound+notifications ---> app notifications --->

Lol. I would still prefer the Samsung style battery percentage. This isn't going to be readable when it goes below 50%. the text isn't black, its whatever colour the background is.

You can, the text is black but the background is grey.
