*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

Correct, I have found some sites, however I'm not so sure if they are that reputable. As they are Eol are these sites stocking brand new phones or old ones?

Also I am quite tempted to get a reconditioned one from smartfones or refurb phones, thouh not sure about the second site.

I had this concern, but have bought a new one from a HK/UK based electronics company, the stock was shipped from UK on Friday, expecting to to arrive Tuesday.

I'll post again to confirm it's a new one on Tuesday.

They need to sort out the naming scheme tho.

When I bought my N5, I thought it was the fith Nexus. The Nexus 6 being the 6th. No of course it's the size that dictates if it's N5 or N6.

But this is confusing.

A phone with the name Nexus 5 2015 is not a good naming scheme.

On a different note, I reckon what Google are going is 5 inch device one year, 6 inch device the next.

Personally I find that 6 inches is just a bit too big for a comfortably held mobile phone, and (having also tried a 5.5" OPO), I reckon that 5 inches is about right... for me anyway!

mine gets sluggish after a few days but it can change, its longer some time and i can go a week or so some times less, i guess it depends on how much the sluggishness bugs me.

Is it worth upgrading from the Nexus 4? There are no new phones want, they're getting too big, but I do fancy a new phone and the 4 has been an excellent phone.

The nexus 5 over the 4 is a nice upgrade, even now. I would say wait BUT that could be a an easy way to wait a long time. I do miss the nexus 4, but if I were to be honest, I am personally getting sick of the nexus 5. That's just me, but meh.
