I think so. The Nexus 5 screen is a lot nicer. I'd go for a second hand one.

That display though....
Then again I've heard it has trouble with the battery discharging too much when idle.

Have you had that with the s6?

Getting over 2 1/2 days atm, I aint too heavy a user atm tho. Came from a note 4 and pleasantly surprised. Had no discharging issues or anything. Screen and camera are amazing though.

To be honest, this is the longest I've owned a phone. The usuals got changed out every 12-18 months but the N5 will be kept until it totally fails. It handles everything brilliantly although could do with a longer lasting battery. Maybe that's it :rolleyes:

Although there has been a few bugs, I've really enjoyed the ownership of a nexus device. I've owned alsorts and its certainly the best! I'll be going for the N5 2015 when its out (hopefully)

Agreed, I've owned the N5 since it came out, first phone for a long time that still does everything I need and is still so fast at what it does, even on stock lollipop. Hopefully Android M will take the battery life to another step with the Doze stuff. Don't feel the itch to upgrade just yet despite whats now available, credit where credit due.

Same boat here..... I ended up getting two last year - once for L and then for the full Lollipop release

Looks like you can only get them on eBay and the like now though, I think they stopped making them

Surprised with the amount of praise this phone still gets. The screen is amazing but battery and GPS are poor.

GPS was particularly poor on early models. I sent mine back to Google and they sent me a new one back in March last year which was much better.

Battery is pretty terrible on all models though.

My GPS was terrible where it would lose GPS signal every few minutes. I popped off the cover, Raised the tabs a bit with a bit of card and re-sealed. Been perfect ever since!

I bought mine on launch day, GPS has never been a problem. Battery life has never been great, but it's no worse than I was expecting it to be.

This is the longest I've kept a phone since my N95!

If anyone uses elementalx he's done a massive update to 4.0 to fix all chrome issues, compatible with 5.1.1

Yeah, I've had mine from launch day. Awesome, and long lived phone. Best since the Nokia E72 in my case.

Just had the 5.1.1 update today - so far so good.
