what doesn't the default sms app do to warrant installing handcent? sorry not read whole thread, just reminds me of installing a third party start menu on windows 8 because you can't handle change:p
 
so is that the reason? not liking change? I assumed handcent did something better like threaded view or better notifications or something.
 
So maybe buying a nexus 5. Not sure what to go for. Black or white? It will be going in a case so I figure any colour will do?
 
The white is meant to be missing the soft touch coating, so if you have no preference on looks then the black is the one to go for.
 
Those of you who ordered from the Play store and have had the orders shipped, are your tracking numbers working?

I got a dispatch email Friday morning with a tracking number, saying it could take up to 24 hours to start working. Two days now and still not working :(

Guessing it's just not being updated over the weekend?

I got a tracking number on Friday and it works fine.
 
i got tracking at 10:30am on friday, first time tracking would work was 1:24 saturday morning saying it was at my local depot. so i guess if your tracking is not working its still at the pick up

That's a bit disappointing then :(

For £10 I'd have half expected Saturday delivery, certainly next day!

Quite disappointed if it still hasn't been picked up then, I got my shipping email at 9:15 AM on Friday morning.

Yeah it seems a bit odd to get a shipping confirmation if it hasn't actually shipped. (As in I'd say it's shipped once it's in the hands of the carrier...)
 
Yeah, it seems Google's idea of shipped is that it's sitting waiting for collection for parcel force to collect. A bit lame really, especially for a company such as Google.
