Yeah, it seems Google's idea of shipped is that it's sitting waiting for collection for parcel force to collect. A bit lame really, especially for a company such as Google.

Well I've had mine for over 24 hours now so I'll just summarise my thoughts (compared to my Nexus 4):
- The shape and feel is a step up from the Nexus 4. I thought the N4 felt nice, but the curve and texture of the N5 makes it more comfortable to hold.
- The ceramic buttons have a nice defined edge to them, making searching for the buttons in your pocket much easier. They feel nice when pressed.
- The screen is very nice. More colourful than the N4, and great viewing angles.
- Speaker quality is noticeably better than the N4, but still not very loud.
- The camera has some focussing issues still.
- KitKat looks great. The minor aesthetic changes add up to a very clean, modern look. I find myself turning the phone on just to look at the new home screen
For anyone deliberating about black vs white version. I may be able to help, because I've had both in my hands. I originally went in to CPW for the SIM free white version, but I came away with the black, this is why: Although the finish of the white backplate is nice, LG have made it worse (IMO) by making the outer edge trim shiny black, as opposed to matte black on the black version. I think the matte black effect (on the sides) is nicer. Also the earpiece is white! I have no idea why, it looks odd :/ Still, if you have a white version on the way don't worry, it still looks cool overall.
Nice one Sunbed. How's the battery life?

Just spotted an e-mail from Google, turns out the order which had went through even though it gave an error, which support promised me would be cancelled, is now in the Glasgow Depot along with the other properly ordered one. Google support is closed today but I'll be giving them some tomorrow when they're open.
Now I either need to go through the hassle of rejecting one delivery and accepting the other, then hoping the delivery driver doesn't just take the phone and deny it, or I accept the delivery then have to go through the returns process, which is a nightmare, or I accept the delivery and sell it on to someone, but it's not exactly like they're out of stock. Either way, I'm £300 out of pocket for at least a month because of a Google error (they take 14 days apparently to refund money), I have 2 of the same phone which is completely pointless and I'm not happy at all with Google Support. I'm gonna kick up **** tomorrow on the phone to them.
Anyone around Glasgowish looking for a Nexus tomorrow?
I've had mine since Friday morning and battery isn't brilliant if I'm honest![]()

If so, that's really tedious. Frustrating that Google keeps putting tiny batteries in these things. My N4 is basically useless for more than 10 hours these days.
