*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

Get up to date man! You've been able to sell them in there for the past couple of hours :p

WAT... finally! :o

I should probably put my oppo for sale since it's been sitting in a box since new with 5hours or so use lol.

There is probably a simple answer to this question, but I keep seeing the word "oppo" being used in this thread, and I not really sure what it is referring to!

Could some kind soul please tell me please, although I will probably kick myself when I know!

Thanks! :)

I don't think a lot of people say oppo here bar me.. since I own 2 and upgraded from one :) but google oppo find 5

Is ART better than Dvalik?

its in testing stages so I wouldn't relay on it too much, some apps don't work with it enabled.

the good bits are that the apps start up quicker but personally I'm sticking with dalvik until it's out of testing stages and more "Warmed up" right now it's a new thing that will have problems and I don't feel like messing around too much with my daily phone.

I currently have a HTC One SV running on EE 4G payg, I was considering upgrading to the Nexus 5 due to its 1080P screen, LTE, Quard core Snapdragon and 2Gig ram. Do you think it would be worthwhile upgrade from HTC One SV?

is this a serious question? if so yes.

good! haven't heard much about issues tbh :) some returns etc but this is normal nothing like htc one gap issue etc... mine is perfect

n5 is really really quick.. I never got the "omg iPhones are so smooth" because the ones I played with seemed to have delay in things I did anyway so I couldn't really understand the moaning that android felt slow.. but nexus 5 jezz.. this thing flies!

Weakness??? It's so darn good I can't kill it over the day with heavy use.. Unplugged today at 6 am with 4 hours screen on and I still have 23% left

That's something you should know :) I personally need 32gb but do you? Do you take a lot of pictures? Store videos, music etc on your phone? If so probably.. As I've said it's up to you

Really? I thought Nexus's were supposed to be the go to phones for custom ROMS.

PACMan on my S4 was flawless for the 2-3 months I ran it.

there's no PAC rom on n5 yet :) but the ROM's I've tried worked fine! the only one that has problems and always had for me no matter that phone I owned was cyanogenmod.. this had youtube issue and toggles weren't working properly - this is probably fixed but I'm more than happy with cataclysm mod.

I always read the word 'cyanogenmod' but have never said it in person until today when I was mentioned to a work mate about people who root and mod or whatever its called.
I realised I have no clue how to pronounce cyanogenmod. How is it said?

cyan'o'gen'mod I think lol.
