i've been using my 32GB model for over a day now and i have to say it is amazing, no backlight bleed and no dead pixels, screen is pin sharp, unbelievable, no doubt my iPad buddies will think it's crap because it's not an iPad, but hopefully they see sense sooner rather than later.
i also had zero issues with my 16GB nexus 7 v1 in regards to bleed and screen lift, so i have had 2 perfect devices, same goes for the 2 nexus 4's i bought (me and the wife), had zero issues with them either.
all in all my nexus family has been superb, not interested in the 10, had a 10" touchpad before the original nexus 7 and it was just too big to call "portable", a real mess to use unless sitting in your lap or on a table and not suitable for one handed use and on the heavy side.
sold the old nexus 7 v1 to a relative for £100 including the "leather" case, new one cost around £172 (from canada in a physical shop). so £70 to basically upgrade a 16GB nexus 7 v1 to a 32GB nexus 7 v2, if you take the fact the extra 16GB usually costs around £40 more, it cost £32 for the upgrade in hardware from V1 to V2, which is basically pennies for what you get.
the person i sold my nexus 7 v1 to, has already paid the cash, but they live 400 miles away, will probably be a few months before i see them, so I have both tablets for now to use as much as I want, which is great.
going to test out Plex running on the 2 of them tonight.
