The reason why people are having edge bleed and dead pixels is down to the fact it's built by ASUS.
They are renowned for bad build quality like this. I have had no end of ASUS tablets Android and Windows 8 and they are all the same.
I think ASUS can get screens dirt cheap which is why Google can sell the N7 with a 1080p so cheaply.

I received the Moko slim fit case, looks good and sleep/wake function works. I shall upload pictures as soon as tinypic works on my side.

Not noticed any dead pixels on mine. Backlight bleed looks like I may have a little along the top edge but not really that noticeable and don't think its bad enough to bother me. Very happy with this tablet so far.

guy's this is the best case I have found going through all pictures of the cases off amazon and ebay.
it should be here next week sometime, and I shall be able to provide pic's myself, but compare it to all the other cases and the surround, fit, size, cost, etc all look spot on

Poetic cases are truly sublime. Had one for version 1 nexus. They do one for version 2 now. Will buy now from amazon.

Just to update this thread with some battery stats. 2 days 14 hours and 53 mins standy, with 6 hrs 53 mins screen on time. Battery at 9%.
This is with mostly web browsing, You tube, facebook, video playback via MX player, Music through speakers for maybe 30 mins. Brightness on Auto, with two emails and facebook running as well as Google Now enabled.

What working external hard drives have people been using? I bought a Buffalo 1TB Ministation but the Nexus won't power it.
As far as I know, if it's not a flash drive it won't be able to be powered by a phone or tablet. The only way I've seen to get it to work is to use a drive that's got its own power supply.
