Subjective question, is this the best smaller form factor android tablet at the moment?

Haven't ever had or needed a tablet but I'm looking to buy one as a gift.

Im in the same boat. Also is the extra of the 32gb needed over the 16gb. This is going to be for a child. cheapest I have found the 16gb is for £180 and the 32gb is £25 more at £205?

in short yes.

if your looking for bang for buck still yes but also look into the Tesco Hudl if you can as that has some good reviews for the price but has a tesco button embedded into the main control bar and a lower quality screen... well its all round lower quality and power but very good given the price point.

personally i took the nexus as its stock google and the screen is excellent

I would go for the 32gb. It's not a lot more really. My children have run out of space on their 16gb iPads and often have to remove games to add more. I think 16gb is bare minimum nowadays.

Got one of these yesterday as a replacement for my 2012 nexus 7. Paid 40 quid for it from Argos as they refunded 200 back for my broken 32gb 2012. Feels a lot nicer and runs a little bit faster. Always nice having 2gb of ram too, means it should stay in the update loop a bit longer.

Just got my 32gb Nexus. Loving it so far! This screen is immense. Need to start playing around with more apps.

I have a small issue in some websites it seems to think I'm in the us but not all. How Do I fix it?

Anyone gone from an iPad with retina to one of these? I have my iPad mini retina which I'm wanting to get rid of as I hate not being able to customise what I like.

I think the only bad thing about this tablet is I really hate picking up my phone (note 1) it just feels so cheap and such a bad screen. Looks like Nexus 5 will be next.

isn't this actually superior to the mini?

isn't it also a lot cheaper?

i don't know why well researched people buy apple, yes they are good at what they do but they are overpriced by several hundreds of pounds across all devices for what you get.

4.4.2 has arrived:

Anyone have a location for the best place to buy this?

Doesn't have to be the cheapest, but places with bundles and extras or the cheapest would be great.

Thanks.
