NFL 2016 Season

Typical Bengals, could have won without Dalton but the D goes moron mode at the end and loses it. Terrible ending to what could have been a great season though let's be honest, not many teams would go far without their QB (who was playing among the best in the league)

saw one of the calls on jones (i think) was because he was having a go at a steelers coach that was on the field when he shouldn't have been ?, fair enough he was stupid but surely the officials should have balanced that against the coach being on the field of play ?

seen questions as to whether the benglas head coach will be there next season cos of his very poor play off record, hope its not seriously being considered after the year they've had.

i think if they give him another season to a) see if dalton can carry on from this season, b) see if dalton can win him a play off game if his form carries over to next season.

seen a lot of stupid penalties flying around during the season and its ended up losing teams games, i know they get fined but it doesn't seem to be working well enough, they need to sort it out.

The Jones one could have went either way, so I'm not massively aggrieved, the second one though was stupid, we have them 30 free yards in a drive which is idiotic.

Regarding Lewis I've been saying for years he isn't good enough, he couldn't take them anywhere when they had Palmer/CJ/RJ & Houz and now he can't do it again. He's average at best and shouldn't be in the job. I can sort of understand the one more year argument based on this seasons potential but he's had one more year for about 5+ years now.

The whole organisation seems to revel in mediocrity and has no ambition. We are getting better now re addressing glaring issues (bar Lewis) but the Palmer days we were sold up the season year after year when they would not address the secondary and TE position which was all that was missing for a good championship run.

I don't get too carried away with it all being a long distance fan but at times it annoys me, it's likes supporting Newcastle twice over :p:(

yeah makes you wonder about the players when they give away 2 real stupid pens on the same drive, doesn't help when i hear the so called experts say "oh it's heated in there these things happen", yes to sodding amateurs, these guys are supposed to be pros for heavens sake.

had a quick look and it seems the bengals have made the play offs the last 3-4 seasons, plenty of teams would be pretty happy with that, we're stuck with fisher who cant even get us a winning season in the same sort of period, so be careful what you wish for :D

can never understand the positional issues, we've been stuck for wr's/te's for a few seasons and while i know you might not always get a quality player i would hope they could at least improve the position.

and i think its a bit unfair to compare the bengals to the toon, at least you know the bengals will get you a win now and again :D

We've made the playoffs but iirc we have not won a single play off game in 30 years, that's shocking and would be worth seeing if its the worst in the NFL. I think regarding the players too much leeway is given, they do stupid **** all the times and act really petulantly but rarely do teams do anything about it.

fair point regarding the Toon comparison :p maybe Arsenal, we reach the later rounds but always fail :p:D

Wow, have to feel bad for the Vikings there.

Now, can my nerves hold up to my Skins playing the Packers. 10 years since our last playoff win. #HTTR #YouLikeThat

they had their chances tho, as with every game, and especially in the play offs you need your players to make the important plays, today both sides had 3-4, hawks took theres and vikings didn't :(

way the games have gone skins have a decent chance :).

a couple of cracking games this weekend. The Seahawks got a massive lucky break in their game. Turnovers and a broken play and then a missed chip shot at the end....

Surprised the Packers won by that margin

yes we like that ;)

Video no longer available.

I'm okay with how that went down. We didn't get embarrassed and we didn't go down in a heart breaker.

We went further than pretty much anyone expected and with our new GM things are finally looking rosy for our future.

Just watching the Steelers Bengals game now. How was the somersault, one hand catch by Bryant a TD? He didn't have possession until he'd left the endzone?

tells me as well it's no longer available even though it's from the nfl channel

Redskins did better than expected this season, but being in the nfc east has certainly helped :p
