NFL 2016 Season

steelers have to be kicking themselves for missing out, manning couldn't hit anything most of the night and drops galore.

on the plus side for them Bryant seems to have taken notice of what has been said about him picking up his game and will carry it into next season.

first half in the panthers/hawks game was like something from the twilight zone

The Steelers are very good at beating themselves :(

I thought all the wide receivers played very well, although M.Wheaton was awful at returning punts. If they can sort the defence out in the draft then it will be a potential Superbowl winning team.

I think Steelers have got a 3 year window if they want to win the Superbowl.

Ben is 33 and I think he still has another 5 years left in him. But the biggest problem/reason for my 3 year window, is upcoming salary cap hell.

Le'Veon Bell, Martavis Bryant and Marcus Wheaton are all still on their rookie contracts. Wheaton wont be expensive to extend his contract as a WR3, but there is no way any team is going to be able to afford to pay full-fat contracts for Bell and Bryant given that Ben got a new contract last year and Antonio Brown wants a new contract as well.

As good as he is (or could be) I think Bryant will be the odd man out. Given his raw talent someone will pay big bucks for him in free agency in a couple of years which the Steelers wont be able to match. I'd rather Bell and Brown get the money anyway.

I would be gutted if they lost Bryant as He is going to be a beast. Having said that they do also have Sammie Coates who looks like He could be a carbon copy.

I don't really know the ins and outs of the salary cap, but I hope they manage to keep hold of their best players. I feel Superbowl win number 7 is not that far away :D

If it was the Panthers O against the Broncos D then I'd say it could be a really good, competitive game.

I just think the Panthers D will tip the game in their favour.

The Panthers are a much more balanced team, which is why they've been the best team all season.

I disagree. The Superbowl isn't for another week and a half and I can already smell the horsemeat barbecue.

They beat a very good Pats team, so it is wrong to dismiss them so easily. I wouldn't be surprised if Denver pull off the win, although my money would be on Carolina. I have been impressed in what I have seen of them against Seattle and Arizona. As much as I dislike Cam Newton He is playing very well at the moment. I think Denver's defence will keep it close, but I think the Panthers will edge it.

I agree, Cam is excellent but a part of me thinks is he another kaepernick? Eventually when the O-line changes with injurys or transfers will he be as good with less safe time in the pocket?
