So so scummy

Wow. I've only watched the Rangers play the islanders this season but not seen them pulling that sort of stuff. Dirty hockey there.

Absolute shocker as we beat the Kings. Never saw that one coming. Emery really needs to be our 1st netminder. He has proved himself time and time again over Mason.

Also, did anyone catch the Devils Penguins game?

NYR has quite a few questionable hits vs the Wild like. Pretty dirty - shame the Wild caved in at the end they are a much better team than NYR.

I watched the Pens game this morning - after the short handed goal then Devils going up 3-1 it was a major shock to see Pens score 7 unanswered! Crazy game.
2 really really silly penelties 2 men on the ice really changed the game.

Blues get another hard fought win. When they play well they are very impressive. 2 very important wins against division rivals.
GO BLUES!

Seems Moore got a 5 game ban for the hit in that gif above.

Well deserved IMO. There was no intention of making the play or gaining possession of the puck at all.

Just caught up with all the caps games this week, frustratingly they are playing their best hockey in a long while but just can't seem to get the win.

Chimeras nose looked a mess in the Detroit game, still amazes me how hockey players just crack on and are back out there the next shift.

I couldn't believe they didn't even stop the game!! lol
He seemed to almost have to crawl off the ice at the end.

About as opposite as you can get from Football. Mind you, credit to football players for having the balls to look like a little baby on national TV...noway I'd be letting the world see me cry my eyes out because I stubbed my toe...:p

Caps and a few others are having same issue. I just think so many games (even more than usual) can go either way this season.

My lad and his mum are on their way back to Nottingham now, having been at the Rangers v Blues game last week in NY. 4-3 penalty winner for Blues i think. Sounded like a cracking game, Rangers were leading all the way too, then got turned over in their own garden.

He'll be jet-lagged but he has training tonight and an ENL game in Deeside at the weekend.
Not quite the NHL, but still......great sport wherever ya go i guess. :)

Lucky sod. I've been trying to time trips to the states with Blues games for ages and just never seem to match up, or plans fall through or change.

I'm determined to make sure I can see them next time I'm over there.

I used to watch Newcastle but they don't have a team anymore. Only team left up here is Whitley Warriors. I was a good skater when I used to skate and nearly went down for try-outs in my early 20s but I'm not built for Ice Hockey! lol

I get injured plenty playing Squash so dread to think what would happen to me in a hockey game.

lol, yeah, i've had trips to A&E at 1am twice now. Once when laddo had a colision with another player at conference and his cage split his chin open. The other time was when he had his hand broke.....3 weeks before going to New York on a hockey tournament. Luckily he didn't miss any games.

It's a tough sport for sure.

The other point from that game is how the hell Glendening got called for goaltender interference when Holtby tripped over his own feet.

Hah we we're sitting there laughing at that one ;)

Worst I've had is concussion when I was about 13 and a split lip, latter was the worst as I was a grown up rather than a kid and screamed like a girl when they were giving me the injections before sewing me up ;)

Caps picking up a little but still seem to be giving up what should be relatively comfortable leads.

Can't decide whether to have a brief trip over to DC again next year to catch a few games, wife will probably talk me into it ;)

Yet another good win against the Caps - totally dominated the entire rink.

Good as they are though, have to be impressed with Tampa's offence they are on fire. They were my 2nd team last season so it's looking good for them.

Preds have surprised me too. Watch both their games vs the Blues and they are the real deal this season. Could deff cause some trouble for teams down the line
