NHL 14-15 season

Yeah that was a good hit on Steen like. Game was enjoyable all round - but maybe less so for Caps fans.
Good thing is the Metro division is very up and down so you're never too far away...except from the Pens who will probably end up 20+ points ahead of 2nd place by the season end.

I enjoyed this hit in the Wild vs Jets game:
Wasn't keen on Jets reaction though. I understand reacting to late hits or really hard hits but this was just a well timed hip check - that isn't going to hurt anyone it was very clean. If I was checked like that I'd applaud the guy myself as it's hard to get clean hits the way the game is these days

Just frustrating to watch, same goalie mistake holtby made the night before, then Peters goes and does the same thing the night after!

Caps just didn't look like a team who would score at all that game, and you need to score to win ;)

Haha that was awesome. Never seen the kids play it makes the rink look huge.

Love the goaltenders like just standing there looking like why did I pick goaltender :-(

That's some good skill at that age though.

reminds of of how I get destroyed by 13 years at Squash as they have bene playing since 2-3 years old when I started at 27...lol

award for the crappest defensive plays this season can safely go to the Philadelphia Flyers.

so many face palm moments this season.

Oooh, Martin Broduer to the Blues. Luckily the Sens met them the day before.

Interesting to see this - Allen is playing really well and with Elliot out Broduer could be ideal to come in and help Allen out with the odd game.

Blues defence has slipped up a few times recently so hopefully they sort that out going forward as they were so solid before. Still pretty good though and one of the best.

Now, if only they had an offence like Tampa - those guys are insane going forward. Brilliant to watch. They were my 2nd team last season and have to say I love watching them this season.

And Columbus - what happened???? Looked so good at the start of the season.

wow Panthers vs Jackets was mad. Bob on mega form other than those 5 minutes in the 2nd.

Shots were 13-13 at one point and Panthers got to about 32 before jackets got to 14...lol

Blues now lost 2 in a row to main division rivals. Bummer. Have to pick it up next game after a bad back to back night.
Blackhawks looking pretty awesome like I think they will win the Western Conference.

Feel bad for the Flames. So much improvement from last season yet their division is so strong. Hopefully they can keep up the pace. Going to be a massive scrap for 3rd in some divisions and some of the wildcard spots this season. Can't wait!!

The Sens finally got a win, coming back from 3-0 down against the Canucks, even though it was in overtime. About time the losing streak finished.

Alex's team picture came in along with his first hockey card. Gonna get him to sign one and send it back to his old goalie coach in the UK. :D

Well. it was a loss to the Kings involving some still sloppy defensive work.

Come on Bryan Murray you've got $20M in cap space, spend some of it!!

But then, there was also this........

And Jonathan Quick being awesome as usual...

I thought they might have had a better season but not looking to be the case. The division has improved a lot from last season too like. Red Wings, Lightning in particular.

Central Division looks like it'll be a 3 horse race can't see any of the other teams cracking the Blues / Hawks / Preds for the playoff sports those 3 are just too good.

I think Wild Card spots are going to be up for grabs for all but 3-4 teams though and it should be a hell of a fight to get them.

Another disappointing game for the caps, played well but just couldn't finish on the powerplay and then Chimera takes the dumbest penalty in OT to lose it with only 18 seconds left.

Wilson still doing his thing though in riling up the opposition, guy decided to make his stick a two piece on Wilsons head

I used to yes but Newcastle teams folded years ago. Used to enjoy it too!!
Seem a few good games when the Vipers were going - was often a good battle with Edinburgh but then they got into the Elite league and it all fell apart for whatever reason.

Whitley Bay still play but haven't been to see them.
