Night Owls

Night crawlers stir in the shadows, creeping, crawling, watching, waiting. I sit and wait and watch the clock, tick tock, tick tock. Daylight has abandoned me. Tick tock, tick tock ...

Tick tock, tick tock. Night crawlers slip and slide around my mind. They're watching, waiting, searching. Whispers swirl in the dark. Tick tock, tick tock ...

Bummer. I can't sleep..,again

Having a dog on the bed squashing me into a corner doesn't help mind.

Same here, awoke with him smack in the middle and me shaped around him like a question mark.

Just made an Ovaltine and about to listen to a Richard Herring podcast, should drift back off to sleep.

I don't know why you let dogs sleep on the bed with you.

Always had dogs and they've always slept on the landing. My mum has some terriers and they sleep on/under/between her pillows.

We get stiffed with all days or all nights occasionally to cover sickness/holiday. Get moved around between stations for the same reason as well.

Would never be able to swing my sleeping pattern like that :S I just swapped from afternoon/evening shifts to 6am starts and my sleeping is still messed up over a week on - woke up just before 2am from a brief nap :s
