Ninja Gaiden

Because the added bits are for the Tournament - sort the men from the boys by making the game faster and harder. However when Hurricane Pack 2 arrives, Itagaki has said the packs will completely overwrite the single-player game, so I assume this is when they'll become available on a coverdisc for offline play :)

That's my theory as well, though unfortunately there has been no date for HP 2. Still, from announcement to release of HP 1 was only about 3 months, so I'd hope we can get HP 2 by Xmas :)

Really can't wait to get Live to get it though, the only enemies that cause me a problem at the moment are the Dragon fiends because they can take so much energy off in one hit. A more challenging ninja battle would be great :D

The best ememy/fight in the game is the first form of Doku.

The only boss you can really go toe to toe with.

He's the same as Murai in that respect, you need to block and time your attacks perfectly to get through hit free (which can be tricky on Hard!).

Im dying to play the Hurricane Pack but i don't have an Xbox live account at the moment. Is there someone who has a free 2 month trial lying around? If so, I would gladly accept one :)

Yeah but by the time i fought doku , my ninja skills were honed to perfection.
When I fought Murai I was a button bashing fool.
(only played it through once)

Try playing it through again then and you'll see what I mean. Spirit Doku is also the same, beat him last night on Hard, and it's just all about timing and skill. :)

Isn't that the game where you can buy a £100 controller or something like that?

I wouldnt bother with steel battalion.

I havent played it but spoke to some of my "live" mates who have.
They say there is a lot of cheating and its just not worth it on live anymore.
Add to that £150 - £200 for the game and controller.

Ahh you get cheating on any online game, its just a fact of life, dont believe em, its great on line, just starting the mech up is a buzz.:)

Resurrecting this thread a bit. I'm wondering how many fiend challenges all the other players have found so far. The one's I've found are....

The Archive in the Monastery level 6 (floaters and brown fiends)

The room where you get the Holy Grail in the Hidden Underground level 7 (Zombies)

The room where you first meet the Scorpion Beetles in level 10 (Scorpion Beetles)

Peristyle Passageway level 10 (Sewer fiends)

The arena where you first fight Doku level 12 (Red dragon fiends)

Steps to the Imperial Palace level 12 (Sewer and brown fiends)

Room with the save point at the start of chapter 13 (Wasp fiends)

The return to Drawbridge Hill chapter 13 (3 soldier fiends)

Fiend realm, entrance by the Great Bridge chapter 15 (sewer and clipper fiends)

I think they were all I could find. Have I missed any at all?
