Nice. I've always wanted to try a Pikmin game.
It was always going to happen
it should include all the dlc the WiiU had which was a lot of fun.I know its been rumoured for a very long time but I always try to avoid getting hopes up until Nintendo themselves say something. I am also hoping this is build up for Pikmin 4It was always going to happen
Can anyone recommend a headset that works wireless with the Switch please?
It's for a 7 year old who is addicted to Fortnite. He plays both docked and handheld so ideally it would need to work with both methods.
He currently uses my PS4 Gold Headset but it sometimes doesn't work for chat for some reason.
I can't really see much available that will do the job I want other than the Steelseries Arctis 1...

Really ? From everything I read in Google it said 12 months unless you purchased from Nintendo store.

It’s EU law.
It depends where you bought it. If it’s from Nintendo they’ll need to cover it under EU and U.K. consumer law. If you got it elsewhere it’s the retailer who needs to cover it, anything Nintendo offer you is in addition to your statutory rights.

I see this console is selling out most days,
I’ve never thought about buying a switch as I have a gaming pc and waiting upon ps5 to come out, I loved the wii back in the day with Mario cart and that brilliant tennis game that got me running around my lounge, what is so good regarding the switch would you say to a tempted person who might think that it will be sat gathering dust once the new smell disappears.

Nintendo first party games, Indie/AA games, and last gen AAA games on a portable system.
If none of the above appeals to you then it's not the system for you.

Regarding last gen games, does that mean wii game’s work on the switch or just a “selected” number of games ?

No, but most of the top WiiU games have been ported over, and big games such as the Bioshock trilogy, Skyrim, Monster Hunter, etc. have been ported too.
Have to agree with the points above. For me the main thing that gets me away from my PC is that I can play handheld on the sofa next to my other half while she's watching TV. It's also perfect for pick up and play / pause and return to it later type games if you're the kind of person who doesn't often get extended periods to focus on gaming without interruption.
Still waiting on Mario 3D World, that deserves a port, hoping might happen this year with the 35th Mario anniversary.
For me Mario 3D world is the best Mario game out there. I played it all the way through with my daughter's a few years ago. It's a game that gets better and better every time we play it.
Its just a matter of time until it gets ported.
