I read a news article that Nintendo have used the term ‘Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Games’. I hope this doesn’t mean to get any enhancements they’re going to rerelease all the games at full price.

Apparently some games will get a free update and some will have a paid DLC update for the Switch 2.

It was on one of the recent Sunbro Nation videos. I can't vouch for its reliability though.

Indeed, it was a little tongue in cheek. I’m just hoping the enhanced games wouldn’t have a long wait before they’re released in whatever method that turns out to be. I’d probably want to dive into a enhanced Zelda at launch, for example.

Watch the latest Nintendo Direct last night, only Metroid Prime 4 interested me, hope the Switch 2 has some good new games coming.

MicroSDs are widely available, I haven't had any issues getting hold of them.

I remember seeing on one of the many 'spec leaks' that it was going to adopt the express format as standard. You're right though in that there are currently not many options about for them especially in larger capacities.
I guess i'll stick to my standard 1tb micro sd for my current switch until similar capacities become available

Yeah I can only see 256GB; although in fairness I'm not sure I'm using more than half my 1TB card on Switch 1, I would assume Switch 2 games will be larger though with extra res / graphics

Would be a suprising move to go for MicroSD Express, they're pretty niche. You wouldn't want to use the space as virtual/memory cache as the writes would eat up their endurance quite quickly.

Yup! I guess it'll hopefully drive prices down as this will be the biggest use of the format so far.
