*** Nintendo Switch ***

I am actually tempted for some reason to change my switch to a switch lite.

Is the lite smaller than a standard switch?
Yes. Quite a bit smaller. I did sell my Switch and go to the lite but the smaller screen and my bad eyes meant I eventually sold it and went to the OLED for bigger screen as I found text too small on the lite.

Doing a few flights over the next few months, so picking up a very lightly used Switch OLED later on from a friend. Was a 2024 christmas present for his other half that's been used maybe half a dozen times. Had a screen protector on it since day 1. Getting Super Mario Wonder with it. Will probably pick up Breath of the Wild as well.

Did consider a Lite, but I'm old so the larger screen is nice. ;)

Anyone got a recommended carry case? Something not too bulky would be good.

Anyone here have a Bedrock Realms server? I just recently discovered they released mods on the marketplace. Sadly, it seems the Nintendo Switch can't handle some add-ons, which leads to crashes, items being invisible and crashes.

My daughter enjoys us building in creative mode, so finally having some furniture is something I was hoping to enjoy.

I feel like I am missing out on so many Switch 1 games and with the 2 coming out soon some of them might have their price lowered. The two I'm quite keen on getting are Hyrule Warriors and Xenoblade Chronicles.

Which other games would you guys recommend picking up while I wait for the Switch 2?

I doubt the games will drop in price due to them working on Switch 2.

This may get expensive....

Had the switch under a week now. Already have Breath of the Wild now. Along with New Super Bros U, Lego Star Wars, Lego DC Villains, Lego City Undercover, Lego Harry Potter, Lego Jurassic Park (Hey.. I really enjoy the Lego games :D) Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Wonder, This War of Mine, GTA Trilogy and Assassin Creed Rebel Collection.

About half physical and half digital. Some of the digital prices were just insanely cheap.

3rd party prices can be Steamesque if that’s a word! I’ve bought so much just because. Lego City was like £3.99 or something recently when I bought it.

Yeah, other than Lego Star Wars at £12, everything has been under a fiver.

For the physical games, Facebook marketplace has come up trumps for me and nothing has been more than £30. Got to be quick though.
