Honestly much as I love my Switch OLED and have kept hold of it, having experienced the performance difference and other improvements, I dont blame people for jumping ship.
Mine is literally staying around as a knockabout because the OLED screen is still nice, the Switch 2 will be where I play pretty much everything including Switch 1 games though, the vast majority just run significantly better even without a patch.

I gave mine to my niece, even my Switch 1 Pro controller. I don't have space for both either.

I live in a shared house with only one room for myself. I think it would be excessive to have two Switches on the same TV

I hadn't used the OG Switch docked in a long time with the joycon wirelessly. I had a right one lose connection a lot when obscured. Searching online lead to lots of 7 year old threads about it. Turns out taping a bit of foil inside is a pretty quick fix.
