*** Nintendo Switch ***

this gonna have a proper global achievements system for once? I need this feature so much.

Why do you need a global system? What benefit does this serve for you which individual game achievements doesn't?

I'm trying to get all the green stars in Mario 3D World but don't need some pointless trophy, is just a personal challenge for me.

I'd rather they avoid the whole achievement system but I know some people live for them.

It really annoys me that I can't turn off the pop ups on steam. I would be tremendously frustrated if I was playing Zelda and the game was interrupted by a stupid pop up telling me I'd killed 20 enemies with my bow and arrow.

Heads up as well. On amazon with various lumsing chargers (eg QC wall ones etc) you get some decent freebies thrown in. I've just ordered 3 more chargers to create my poor mans Switch chargers to dot along the house, with some cheap USB C cables. They also have a power brick for 7.99 with an offer too, again something I really don't need as I have 2 20k mah ones already but anyway....

Haven't been excited for a console launch for ages. Wii U, PS4 etc I bought eventually not at launch.

I would pay maybe £5-10 for 1,2 Switch at most tbh, might be a bit of fun at an odd party with some chemicals in the mix :p

should have been bundled with the console for free.

I think that would have been a bad business decision tbh. Nintendo don't want 1,2 Switch to represent what the console is about (i.e. another motion controls based console), even if it does demo some of the console's features well.

Also, people would feel they are buying something they don't want.

Fair point should've listed it as a free download on the Nintendo online shop then. :D

I don't think I'd buy 1-2 switch unless it was literally £5-10! Though I did buy and really enjoy warioware smooth moves on the Wii when I had friends round so maybe I'd change my mind if I played it!

They should really have made a sequel to that. I don't understand Nintendo sometimes. They have all these amazing franchises and most of the time they don't bother to use them.

Anyone else a fan of warioware on the Wii?

1-2 switch will be in the bargain bucket in a few weeks after launch. I wouldn't worry about what it has to offer for the current price.

I appreciate its not just about the launch titles, but apart from Zelda (that I bought on the N64 way back when) there is absolutely nothing to inspire me to buy this at launch - I may wait until Mario Kart / Mario World is released later in the year , maybe even next year if World is delayed from "Holiday 2017"

If that Zelda trailer didn't inspire you to buy a Switch then nothing will.

I have my eye on a few titles in the launch window but I'm more than happy with just Zelda to start with and I'll pick up the others as I go along.

Since the Switch isn't my only console, and I didn't have the Wii U, I'll have plenty to keep me going and titles like Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon will be brand new to me.

Waiting would be sensible if you can, I have a feeling a price will drop come by Holiday 2017.
