*** Nintendo Switch ***

Cheers, I keep switching between being really excited and thinking meh about the console and games. Mario Kart will always be great fun but I'm not entirely sold on mario and zelda yet. I do realise that mario and mario kart aren't out for a few months still.

Done.

Is there any possibility that all the VM games linked to my account will one day let me download them on the switch?... :D
I suspect there will be.

My eShop records including VC purchases has all been linked and I can go back as far as 5 years on it.

I have hope this will be working well when the VC titles launch.

You had to run Wii mode to access your Wii VC on Wii U or pay to "upgrade" them, really can't see this being possible without paying but would love if they did.

I can't justify that kind of money on a controller, things like NFC are of absolutely no use to me, and rumble is rumble. Give me a pad with half the battery life, no NFC and no rumble for £40 and i'd be happy :p

You'll likely see some third party pads in the future which offer exactly that but on the issue of rumble people who have used the joy-cons are saying the rumble really is something else, will have to wait and see but is a shame Zelda doesn't make use of it since that'd probably going to be the only game many people experience.

Is there anything included in the box so you can charge this thing without docking it? I.e. Can I use the power adapter from the dock and plug it straight into the console?

It's just a USB-C port. Yes you can use the power adapter without the dock as far as I know.

I'm taking about my Wii U purchases which were already "upgraded" for Wii U for over screen etc. I reckon Nintendo will not charge this time around

Sticky will be needed. Bomberman all the way, i also have my id setup to thanks for that.
This would be good fun but i would struggle to justify paying £30 for the game and its nowhere near that at the moment.

As for USB C does anyone know how many watts the average laptop will output via USB C? Is it similar to USB As 5 watts? I have one of the newer Dell XPS 15s and it would be nice if the power output was bumped up a bit from conventional USB ports

Reading through the comments here, I might do the same - put the funds towards mario kart and an external battery pack.

My thinking exactly. The console with game plus case is enough for me this month. I think I'll want MK as well. Can always pick up the controller later if I find that I am using it through the TV a lot.

20 Volts at 5 Amps, so 100 Watts.
