Thanks bud. Took a bit of searching but managed to find out myself too. Should be fine then with the dock stashed behind the TV. It's either that or mess around with getting a longer HDMI cable. Hmmm decisions.

Game have just cancelled my preorder citing problems with payment card. Lovely.

Spoke to barclaycard who confirm all is fine, game told me to reorder but wouldn't confirm over the phone if I will get it on Friday now.

My accessory set (Official case and screen protector) have been shipped from Nintendo. Guess this means I'm keeping my Switch order.

The JoyCon Desync issue is putting me off having it behind my TV tbh

To be fair that will likely be rectified in the Day One update, no journalists so far have had access to the Update. (at least I would hope it will)

In other news my Breath of the Wild Amiibo's have been dispatched via Royal Mail tracked, they'll probably arrive Thursday I would expect since it's from the Official Nintendo Store and those things usually arrive a couple of days after they aren't sent from past experience.

I would imagine for those ordered Switch from there like Game will be dispatched via a courier service.

Interesting you say that as I've seen people cover the end of the joy-con to block the signal but would having the console docked behind the TV have the same effect?

I'm guessing it could but maybe not as dramatic, the reason I think it might be different is I imagine the bluetooth signal coming out of the joy-con in ripples like dropping a stone into a lake so the dock/Switch would pick up something bouncing around the room...

Anyone seen any tests/videos?

This happened to me as well ...

I now have a pro controller and zelda on it's way from Game but no switch.

Won't be ordering from Game ever again, bunch of *****.

Same thing here with Game, won't be using them again for pre-orders! Pre-ordered from Amazon... has anyone had theirs shipped? may try my luck on picking one up on release day

Nope as far as I'm aware nobody who ordered from Amazon UK has had their Switch shipped, I personally don't expect it to happen until the 2nd of March.

Does not matter when it gets dispatched, chances are it will all arrive on 3rd anyway. I would rather not have my Switch rattling around courier firms anyway

I've ordered from Amazon and nothing as yet. Only thing I'm worried about is by default, my safe space is behind my bin. That's normally alright as everything I normally order is something low(ish) value. Hopefully they don't deliver when the wife is on a school run!

Daughter wants 1-2 Switch. Might go for digital download. £40 on Amazon though!

Why do Game flat out cancel the order? Their twitter is blowing up with people having the same problem. Being told to reorder over the phone isn't acceptable, especially having pre-ordered back in November.
