Understandable. Usually I would be like this too, but Zelda! Good god man, not waiting around 12 months or more to play Zelda which sounds like once in a decade game! Also the anticipation, excitement and fun I am having with the Switch and Zelda are worth the extra money :D
 
Well my carry case from Amazon is preparing for despatch and my Switch is simply sitting as pre ordered, it better be despatched today!

Looks like Zavvi are going to let people down, myself included, so I've had to order Breath of the Wild from ShopTo so should arrive tomorrow via DPD.

Some girl had asked Zavvi and then posted to twitter that apparently they haven't received stock of either Zelda version for Switch and recommended attempting to pre order elsewhere...the joys!
 
In other news, if Zelda is crap i'm going to be furious :) :) :)

Anyone know how long the main game story is meant to be? Hopefully its an 80+ hourer!
 
I read one reviewer/previewer blitzed it on 40-50hrs of gameplay and she said there was no where near full completion. So it's certainly not lacking in content.

She also said she hasn't been so engrossed in a game for a long long time.
 
speed runners have got it down to the 'end game' in under an hour. However the game is designed that you can get there pretty much when you want, but would die, lots.

Not worth the hassle, once you take the postage fee, PayPal fee, eBay fee, your time and the chance that the guy your selling it to does not end up being a time waster.

I had three on pre-order myself, but cancelled two as I can't be asked with the hassle for peanuts.

I sold mine last year when it was still worth something. So I am just paying a small upgrade fee. As mentioned earlier, well worth the money for all the fun and excitement I am having and not even got hold of the console yet :p
 
On Amazon my Switch says shipping today but everything else says not yet dispatched.

If Zelda doesn't turn up and the Switch does I'll just take the hit and buy it digitally, couldn't face having it sit there and not be able to play!

Same. But my credit cards shows Amazon has taken the Switch & Zelda today so all looks good.
