*** Nintendo Switch ***

Not watched it, but it's really not. If they do upgrade it, which they most likely will, an upgrade service will never be offered. Doing it ourselves will probably be likely, but expensive and risky.

Sorry I didn't mean that Nintendo would offer an upgrade service. I meant they could for example offer a 64gb or 128gb version really easily. No need to redesign the whole thing. Just change that storage pcb. Done!

Yes that is very true, and I can see that happening if it sells well enough for it to be worthwhile to Nintendo.

I plugged in a generic one I received with my lapgop and the Switch said it wasn't working in the Network Settings but the connection was definitely more stable so I think it was working.
Will try my HP one, if no good cex sell the genuine wii one for £8 which works with switch
Will get that, because in my bedroom where my dock is the switch struggles to connect to my wifi (even phone only as 1 bar connection) but i ran an ethernet/lan cable to the bedroom so will be better for me

This just arrived:

I could have sworn it was £19.99 when it was available at Amazon, but it shipped at only £9.99.

The scope is pretty useful with the pins especially when finding some pesky shrines / towers! I would have much preferred it if the map was fixed and didn't spin around when you move :/

I'm pretty sure you can set the mini-map to be fixed with north upwards in the game settings.

If the GBP to EUR exchange rate was actually any good again I could be making a fortune. Shops literally full of Switches. I could even sell them at a discounted rate and post them over and make a profit.

God dammit.

Do you keep the Wifi enabled as well?

I wonder if it prioritises the LAN connection over Wifi.

WiFi is nice because you don't lose the connection when you un-dock the Switch. It's really annoying getting disconnected every time you remove the Switch from the dock.

I'm taking an overnight trip to York on Wednesday with the wife and I saw the Argos there had a grey one left in stock. I quickly snapped it up and have paid for it - it is now awaiting collection :)

Can't wait, I bought Zelda several days ago for £60.00 and have since seen it in stock at Tesco for £48.00 - bummer. I have just ordered the Orzly screen protector and the Hori tough case. Are there any other accessories that are a must/essential?

Cheers.

Get a large USB charger and a USB-C cable for the flight.
