*** Nintendo Switch ***

It's been like that since the first game.

I looked a little deeper in to this not being able to change weapons in game/end of round. The reason you can't is to ensure balanced teams. It would break the balanced match makers process if you could.

Now that I've learned that, I'm not as frustrated as I was.

You still end up against a full team of snipers sometimes though.

Lots of switch action today! Was turf warring on Splatoon 2 and now at lvl 6. I don't feel like I'm very good but I have my moments where I obliterate and the some. Loving the "slosher" right now.

Then Switched to BOTW and added the bday present DLC :)

It's been a good day :)

It's been a mission of pain since my Switch arrived. Yesterday it finally started working after countless attempts to factory reset and I got to play Zelda for an evening (which is amazing!) and this morning it has totally crapped out again. The charge icon shows up, but nothing happens and no amount of powering up/down in different ways works. It looks there was a big 340 page thread on the Nintendo forum that they deleted on this - so Switches with dodgy batteries is a known issue. If I send it back to the rainforest it will likely be months of waiting for a replacement and the glass screen protector is on perfect, so i'm tempted to send back to Nintendo for a repair (which is frustrating on a brand new console!). What kind of turn around have you guys been getting on the joycon issues? Having just got into Zelda it's going to be hard sending it away!

Gutted for you Warbie. Tbh I'd just send it back and ask for a replacement :/

Cheers dude. I may do. It's just annoying after the wait and having to buy another screen protector! I'll see what amazon say.

//edit I just spoke to Amazon and it's either wait a month and lose the protector, or Nintendo for a repair. I'll give Nintendo another call and see what they say.

Sorry for not trawling back through pages and pages to look but has anyone tried thumb stick caps/protectors/grips? Or any other type of grip on their switch? I find the thumb sticks abit small and slippery for my shovel hands.

Finally joined the switch bandwagon, got a great deal on gumtree £230 with zelda botw.

Just a few questions for owners.

Aside from Zelda anything else worth picking up and what to look forward too?

I'm thinking of getting splatoon 2 so kids can play with it, can you do 2 players with just the joycons like 1 joycon each?

Is the pro controller worth picking up or are the joycons good enough for docked mode (Zelda) in the controller adapter thing?

Just got to finish prey now so can get started on Zelda!! First Zelda game ever too.

Splatoon 2 is only multiplayer online or via local multiplayer, you need one Switch per person. You need both joy cons (or the pro controller) to control it.

Zelda is excellent, your question pretty much depends on what kind of games you like, surely? the library is steadily increasing, take a look :)

Also the pro controller is fantastic. Everyone seems to moan about the price until they get one :)
