Haha I bought mine in my last job when I was traveling abroad often, now it just sits in the house unused. Still I finished the Killzone game and Wolf among us on it, will do the uncharted game before I sell it.

Me too, though gameseek offer a pre order price of below £200 and will honour it even if the rrp is higher on release.

Na. I have work that day!

Although I could get up early to then head into the office early, but I'm not that keen

I'll catch the bullet points during the day then watch a stream/upload when I get home in the evening

Yup, excited this week's finally arrived. Hopefully Amazon pre orders will be up on Saturday. Will get the bullet points in the morning and will watch the stream Friday night.

Given their handling of the NES classic I expect anyone interested will need to be very quick off the mark getting a pre-order in.

Never preordered a console online, how does it tend to work? Small deposit then full amount on dispatch?

Everywhere is different. Although most places generally take a small deposit and then tell you when the remaining amount will be debited from your account etc.

Some take the full wack in advance.

Some take no deposit and then take the full wack at point of release/shipping.

Lol CeX seems to give about £80 for them, will try a trade Price match at Game or alternatively a private sale

Well on the way to a Switch, I have some Amazon credit as a gift that I am getting some well priced games to finish and also trade in at Game for little to no loss.

Honestly, I believe the NES classic release and engineered shortage was nothing more than an attempt to build hype and encourage pre-orders for the switch!

I was going to buy a PS4 Pro this week. But I have a feeling I might as well save the money for the Switch, it would no doubt give me more gaming joy for less! I can't wait to play Zelda.

Right but it's a bit of a stretch to say they lost out on sales just to create possible future hype. It's smacks of a misjudgement of demand rather than clever marketing.

Getting onto Jimmy Fallon was smart though I'll give them that. Let's hope they've learned something as their Wii U marketing was pitiful, at least here in the UK it was.
