Is Mario + Rabbids worth the £15 in the sale? Is it suitable for 5 year old or too difficult?
It's an excellent game. If the kid is smart for his age then it's suitable, it's not hard but the core concepts of turn based strategy can be tricky to grasp.

Phate and I have played what must be approaching 100 games online together on smash from Portugal to Switzerland and it's been working very well.

Is anyone else interested in getting an online lobby or tournament running sometime? I think 4 player games still don't work well but 1v1 seems good.

Best games for a 5 year old? If any

Go Vacation
Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze (Funky Mode)
Mario Odyssey
Lego Marvel Superheroes
Mario Kart
Pollen Tournament DX
Smash Bros
1-2 Switch
Arms

Not saying they'll be able to play all of them well, but they should all offer some enjoyment.

Did a quick search to see if I'd missed anything really good. Best Buy had an amusing suggestion; Hollow Knight :D

Bloody eshop sale.

RIP Wallet :p :)

Yeah Kree told me 400 more games were added to the sale. I am not even looking. I think if Celest and/or shovel knight were added I would have bought those, but fortunately for me...they were not!

just got a switch the other day and my dad bought him self one as well at the same time, i got lets go eevee and he got mario kart with his :)

chucked 50 quid on the nintendo account and grabbed octo traveler, cat quest, rayman legends and paranautical activity the last one there was just getting rid of a quid or 2.

overall were impressed with how the system runs and just how seamless it is, the screen seems prety good too the only complaint i have is the same as my vita, the dang power cord plugs in the bottom in hand held mode which is a bit meh when lying in bed.

is xenoblade 2 as good as the first one? i really like my jrpgs and there seems to be a few good ones on this, oh is there a proper 2d mario game on this yet?

The kids got a Switch from Santa - what's the best way to set it up account-wise though?

Am I better setting up a "master" account for me and then have each of the kids just have a local "user" account or do they both need online accounts for them to play any online content?

Picked up Mario and Rabbids in the sale through the Russian store, came to about 12 quid.
Fantastic game, been on my radar for ages now. Hoping Tropical Freeze goes on sale at some point soon!
