I want to love Dead Cells, but just not jiving with it. The controls are excellent, the action is good but the progression just seems like a grind. I know probably a git gud thing but I barely have time these days (...160 hours in BoTW tho )

I think dead cells is massively overrated.

Picked up mario+ Rabbids whilst it was in the sale and I must say although I haven't played much due to being sick I'm rather enjoying it more than I thought I would such a good game

Do you need to of played any other zelda game to enjoy and understand brotw?

I know this is old but as a general rule of thumb each zelda game has it's own story and can be played in any order without prior knowledge. There is a much wider story arch, but the games don't lean into it.

Decided to purchase splatoon 2 as I had some game points to use and I must say its extremely fun and I wish I picked it up sooner as ive been tempted by the game since it came out on the Wii U lol

Hi all

I'm looking for some help to find switch bundles. Any one know of any good ones?

I'm looking for Zelda as game one or I would like odessey if the deal is better.

Are there any other day one accessories required like a case and screen protector? If so what are the best ones?

Many thanks

I am also a late adopter of Splatoon 2, got it in January and my goodness what a fantastic game. Loads of fun, and I just love that it takes 5 minutes per match. Means I can slip in a few matches in between other activities.

From the research I've done, the best deal you can get on a new console with Zelda was £310.

As for Odyssey, Tesco did have a deal on a few weeks ago for a grey console with Odyssey for £280 but I not sure if it's still available anymore. Game also had a deal on for £290 for the console (either colour) and choice of Pokemon Let's Go, Mario Kart or Odessey however I think that may have also ended.

Sometimes voucher deals for eBay crop up where you can get a certain percentage off shop purchases through eBay. If you get lucky with one of those then you could pick up a console brand new for a really good price and then just buy the games separate, not sure how often those deals come up.

As for accessories, would definitely pick up a Screen Protector as a minimum. There are loads to choose from on Amazon and the prices are reasonable. I've got the Orzly one as do a few others I believe (they also make good cases and other accessories).

i believe orzly do a package of accessories on amazon which is very good value for money including a grip case which makes the switch much better to use when on the move as well as protecting it.

Yea I didn't realise how short the games were but I think it's perfect amount of time tbf I didn't know splatting people with paint could be so fun:D:D:p

I can't believe who would need those extended joycons batteries. I haven't 'needed' to charge my joycons at all.

Switching between playing on the sofa and portable the way I do keeps them charged anyway. To be honest I've never even seen my joycons go below 90% battery!

They do die relatively quickly when using motion controls and rumble. My right one (which uses motion sensors) dies after around 4 hours of Splatoon (not in a row!).

The Pro controller has something like 25 hours of battery life!

My gfs joycons die rather often as she doesn't own a pro controller so she has to use the joycons all the time so the extended battery would be useful to her
