*** Nintendo Switch ***

Has potential...
This game is said to be amazing. Been highly praised on PC but I understand it's quite hard core. I was debating buying it until I heard it was coming to switch. If the price is comparable I'd sooner buy it here

***ignore me! I read hollow and thought it was hollow knight, which too is coming. I can't speak to the above game, apologies

Hollow Knight isn't hardcore. It's pretty standard in terms of difficulty for a Metroidvania game, and it's great!

Sonic Mania can be had from the Rusky store for £9ish, means unlinking your Nintendo account and changing region but it's easy enough to link them back up again.

Edit: Ah, seems I'm a bit slow with this one, already posted :)

Meh paid the £15.99 for Sonic Mania and although only having finished the first Zone it's already feeling like money well spent.

This is the perfect love letter to the franchise and it plays so well, it's a shame there's another Sonic game coming out later this year that will no doubt tarnish all this rebuilding.

How do you do this changing regions on the eshop without setting up a gazillion accounts? Can I buy a game from the web shop or does it have to be on the Switch itself?

For those who bought Mania from the RU store - did they accept your regular debit card?

You just change your region in your settings (I used the Nintendo website on my PC), buy the game on the Switch and then change your region back. It couldn't be simpler.

I used my Halifax One credit card that was already tied to my account to make the purchase.

If you use motion controls the Pro controller doesn't last very long.

I've only had to charge it once since Splatoon 2 released. So more drain yes but still nothing to complain about.

My debit card won't work on the US store so I buy US eshop cards and pay like that. I suppose my credit card could work but I haven't tried it.

Anyway I just bought Sonic. Happy with the UK price.
