Something people keep asking...short answer...no.

The demand is very very high still. Nintendo are getting better at replenishing stocks (in fact it's in stock at Amazon right now) - but with the demand still this high and another AAA title coming out soon. The only deal you will find is from buying 2nd hand. I think you will have to wait a full year after launch to find any deals really :)

Game are doing it for £300 with Zelda or mario kart or Splatoon at the moment. A few other places have started doing offers so yes there are a few good deals at the moment. Check hukd.
 
Following up from my 'loose' and 'creaky' joycons, it does seem like something a lot of people have experienced and to some degree it probably is somewhat intentional to prevent damage to the system if dropped.

However, I've noticed that the bottom of my joycon rail seems misaligned, is anyone elses like this? Is it normal?

See how it seems to curve away from the joycon slightly towards the bottom?

None of my four joy cons do that. They are all completely straight.

Seriously addicted to Stardew Valley :o. Played 16 hours since Sunday and I barely feel like I'm anywhere in the game. Fully explored the mines and just focusing on faring for a while now. Best part is I really want to play Golf Story but can't pull myself away from this.
 
Finally putting in some good time into Splatoon 2. Made it into the ranked battles. My god its intense compared to turf war :D

Definitely prefer the tower control over the other one so far...but that may have just been down to the teams I was playing with. Man this game is really crying out for some decent voice comms integration. Can you use the app just to voice talk with randoms you played with in ranked battle? or is it just your friends in a lobby you have to setup manually etc?
 
S+ is where the real game begins, then you have 50 ranks within that to try and climb.

I have just had a 20 game losing streak but at least I finally have my perfect gear setup.

You must have lost a rank or two by that losing streak?

And, do you play in teams with friends? or just join matches online? there is still no way to join other friends in game is there? Bah!

You can join friends but the teams are random. I have never played with friends because all mine play offline in person rather than online.

I didn't go down a rank because I was on the verge of ranking up with a perfect set just before the losing streak.
 
Loving stardew too! Midway through summer, producing helmans mayo daily :D blueberries are the ****! Seriously! Only around level 55 of the mines, need to reach gold ore really to get my sprinkle on!

I kinda neglected farming so I'm still only level 5 Farming half way through Fall but I've made solid progress on the Community Centre and of course the mines and everything that brings. Really starting to focus on Farming now though. Haven't even touched animals or recipes yet :o.

The best part about the Switch version is that I probably wouldn't play it this much on PC. Handheld mode is an absolute godsend for games like this in my opinion.
