*** Nintendo Switch ***

DOOM i was going to get but I realised last night that DOOM has a Demo on Steam so I installed that on my work laptop (which is pretty powerful) and I can play it with settings on high at 1080p between 30-45fps so unless there is a big price drop. It will be a PC purchase for me.

RIME I am massively dissapointed by. I really want this game. But by all reports the port is awful. So it's a pass for me.

I finally succumbed and bought Rocket League. Played it last night for 90 minutes or so. It looks OK docked but quite a bit ropey in handheld. I actually had a great time though and was involved in some some close games (and some not so close). I think it'll be a cool game to play when you've got some free time here and there. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

I tried it handheld (well on its stand but undocked), yeah doesn't look as good and actually not that easy to see the ball on the smaller screen!!!

I had no issues really on the small screen. Pressing X (I think it was X) to center the ball was pretty useful. Not sure how the leveling works or how I access some of the locked out content yet. Below my name/avatar it says level 7. Do things change when I get to 10?

I got rocket league , was a steal for £15. When you first look at it in handheld it's awful but after 1 game I didn't even notice the graphics as the gameplay is awesome, runs brilliantly which is what I'm most bothered about

I finally printed and installed my 3D printed portable dock.

Now it glows in the dark, doesn't scratch my screen and is portable without the risk if bending it in transit!

Does that ethernet port work with the normal docking station?

Good work on the 3D printed dock!

Not sure if this will benefit anyone here, but currently Sainsbury's are doubling up their nectar points, so £20 in points gives you a £40 voucher (you can only use one voucher per transaction. Managed to grab a pro controller and a set of joy-cons today for the delightful sum of £55 (with £80 worth of vouchers)

Worth checking out your balance to see what you have

I could only make £20 into £40, did they allow you to make £40 in £80? Apparently going from £20 to £40 is the maximum.

They allow you to do it more than once but only allow you to use one voucher per transaction. So I used 1 for each device

I'm not really one replay games at all and I've played Skyrim to death on PC already, never did play the DLC but can't really see myself going back for it.

I'm kinda interested in LA Noire though, never played the original and it seems quite unique, not really like anything I've played before.
When it comes to story focused games I tend to only enjoy the exceptional few, and I've heard Noire is up there with the best of them in that regard.

Thanks, I was a bit sad that no one commented on it :p

Almost any USB ethernet adapter works with the original dock, you just plug it into any of the three USB ports. This one is the original Wii (not the U) ethernet adapter which works great.
