I believe the Gamecube/Wii games coming to Nvidia Shield in China are streamed (so not actually running on the Shield hardware)
That would make sense given the rampant piracy there.
Except the X1 in the Switch has the A53 cluster disabled, and both the A57 cores and GPU is underclocked. Apart from that they're the same. Still, hopefully it can still get GC/Wii games running, maybe not at 1080p.
So the Shield is more powerful than the Switch? That seems crazy. Why would Nintendo limit power and disable cores?
