No Man's Sky - Procedural space game

Personally I'd say no though closer to the right price for what it is even with the updates.

EDIT: TBH depends a bit how quickly you'd see through the game - some people can get close to 100 hours out of it before they start to see how shallow it is while others catch on inside a dozen hours and once you start to see it it ruins a lot of the game for you.

I had set my mental purchase price for it at £15. So £23 is much closer and given that its on sale for £23, I'm thinking that means that it may well show up on some of the cd key sites over the next week at the £15 price point. If so, I will pull the trigger on it, if not , I will continue to wait.

Could this be the biggest "turn around" in gaming history?

I am hearing more and more positives about this now to the extent I might purchase it...

Never thought I would say that.

I'm intrigued but I still think I'm going to hold off playing it again until it gets another large update or two. The experience left me incredibly angry on launch.

So with the new update (the game only just came into my radar as it popped up in a feed!) is this worth checking out? I like the idea of your base planet being "yours" to explore, and name new species discovered and whatnot, and that supposedly 99% of the galaxy in the game contains planets that probably will never be discovered due to sheer size.
