No Man's Sky - Procedural space game

This game any good yet ? worth 15 ?

Depends - there are some great moments early on before you discover just how shallow and/or pointless a lot of the game really is and with low level flight mods it can be good for just a chilled out flypast of some of the different planets, etc. but as an overall game in its current state its considerably lacking.

Interesting thanks guys, I'm also considering the new update is apparently the first time hello games has ever hyped an update.... Which is unusual apparently, am thinking do I get it now at 15? Ready for the update? Will it go up in price again if it gets good? Worth the gamble?

thing is with any other dev i'd be thinking exactly what you're thinking, however this is hello games. hello games would have known of this steam sale coming in. they have once again 1 year later created hype about a game, without actually doing or saying anthing much, and created the desire to own this game but a bunch of users. people are now thinking ooo we don't know what this update will be, maybe it'll be worth it when the update comes, but the sale runs out before then so is it worth taking the risk, and potentially purchase this game when they wouldn't have.

I picked up subnautica and really enjoying it, surprised! It appears v similar to no man's sky or am I way off the mark? Lol

Out of the two I'd have said subnautica is the better game, but NMS plays to sci fi fans more.

Doesn't deliver, but appeals to them. As much as it has improved I really can't recommend this game.

I bought No Man's Sky on the day of it's release and put over 50 hours into it, and thoroughly enjoyed the game despite it's many criticisms.

Obviously there are still a lot of negative connotations associated with the launch, and many continue to dismiss the game despite the improvements added with subsequent updates.

I never had a problem with the game, granted there are some issues with it, but I can't help feel that some are due to the insane amounts of hype around the launch time. I still occasionally play it and it is still relatively interesting.

The latest Waking Titan update dropped today, it's happening choo choo.

Prob worth signing up just in case the 1.3 update is going to be the groundbreaking changes to the game that we are hoping for. 10,000 V4 Atlas passes are being sent out, it could possibly be access to a beta of some sort, maybe starting on July 21st. Sign up here http://csd.atlas-65.com/ and there's also a survey in your email after registration.
