No Man's Sky - Procedural space game

Thanks for the mod install tips guys

So the 2nd ship I found needs repairing, can't I just strip those parts off my original ship or do I have to find all the resources again etc to get the thrusters and so on working

mod works now :)

bit annoyed though, when i stopped playing earlier i was in the middle of moving from my old ship to the one i found. load save and my old ship isnt here any more :( had loads of warp cell ingredients etc on board

I'm running these mods at the moment, all working and updated for Atlas 1.3 game version. Makes the game feel and look so much better

Decided to give it a go and bought it, looked at your list. I can find...

#RaYRoD's E3 Conversion Mod (No Font) (Transparent Inventory + Transparent Pause Menu)
_ChromaticRemoval
_LawnReality.CrescentWorlds.1.1.4
_Level_2_FasterMovement.1.2
MOD.LushGrassDistance
_MOD.TransparentUI

Can't seem to find the others....?

Maybe I should have a vanilla experience, but I rarely have done in many games I've played :)

U want the font version for e3 rayrod. I'll link the others in the morning.

I'm just following the quest, I guess that's what was added in the latest update? And along doing that it teaches me about most aspects of the game. At what point, in this new version, does the race to the centre of the galaxy become the objective? I have a mission about finding atlas stuff so I guess that's it? But can't find anything yet I guess I just keep moving from system to system for that stuff

There is a small problem with that mod, can't see weapon overheat, it's being fixed apparently

Thanks for the heads up. I did read that later in the posted comments.

Not having played the game before I did not know that it was missing.

I removed it for now and maybe something as game changing as that could be might be best left for a while until I get an idea of the basic game.

I did add Lens Flare Remover V1.1 for NMS V1.3.

I also removed the faster movement as, if I got it right, seen that it is showing as not working correctly...?

  • Faster Movement - makes moving the camera around ridiculously slow, unplayable.
^^^ if that is the same.

yep removed mine after I found the same thing.

Here is the Reduced Launch Cost - I use 25% as the default amount for Plutonium is bonkers. https://nomansskymods.com/mods/reduced-launch-cost/

Also, here is Classic UI Font, fills in some missing from RayRods E3 Conversation, mainly in the menus https://nomansskymods.com/mods/classic-ui-font/

^^^Thanks for those :)

Any idea why the mod community seems divided somewhat where these mods are placed...?

For Fallout the Nexus site is almost obligatory, as well as for Skyrim etc.

For City Skylines it is Steam workshop, as that integrates with the game nicely, updates as well automagically.

For this game, even with the Steam workshop built in, it seems many of the bigger mods are over at Nexus or nomanskymods.

BTW The latest 1.3 of the reduced launch cost is....

Up until now I’ve never liked NMS, it was just too empty and pointless, but after a long time I’ve taken it out for a spin with the new 1.3 version.

In my opinion this is now a great game with the additions of missions adding tons of fun.

This is more or less what I’d been hoping for. I’m not taking any of originally misleading statements of Murray into account, in fact I never followed that part very much, so I can’t say whether anyone still waiting for his list of promised featured will be disappointed. What is important to me is that the game the way it is now is fantastic.

The atmosphere reminds me a lot of the first X-Universe games, and I enjoyed the heck out of them. Mind you, you have to like those sort of slow burners.

Another point: I don’t know about the multiplayer part, I can’t be bothered with it. Not here, not in any other game barring ArmA possibly. So if multiplayer is your thing, you might be disappointed? I wouldn’t know.

Anyway, I think that this game has earned top marks now.

yep game feels a lot more involved now, im really impressed on what they have added. It's now on the right track, can't wait to see what the next big update does.
