I am looking forward to this, lot's of people seem to be a bit down about it though and saying its boring so it is a bit of a risk at £40 I must be honest.
Wow. You sound exactly like the guy who made this guy. Talking it up.
I get to choose what the games is about? Not a chance.
The game will be what I make of it? Haha..no. It's pretty clear you get a very limited amount of activities to take part it.
It's a sandbox, you make what you want from it.
But it's not though is it. It's not a platform to do 'whatever you want'.
I would have thought that when talking about a video game most people wouldn't need a caveat to point out that you can't use it to make perfect lemon meringue pie.
Still wondering if I can set my joystick up for flying in it.
Didn't take long for you to resort to attempted insults. Grow up. Hey ho.
All i'm trying to get out of you is some honesty...what you said about 'doing what you want' is nonsense.
just seen this, graphic settings

Merely pointing out the ridiculousness of this bizarre straw man you've conjured up where someone has said No Man's Sky lets you do ANYTHING ANYONE HAS EVER DONE IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE. But I get it, you've got your panties in a bunch because someone has an opinion on a video game you don't agree with and you're upset. Calm down. You'll get over it.
There's plenty to do in No Man's Sky. If you're the sort of person that doesn't enjoy sandbox games, you're probably not going to think it's 40 quid's worth. As a 15-20 quid game I reckon anyone will get good value from it, and if you're in the camp that where you're not sure it appeals, I'd wait for a sale.
Tell me about some of the fun, interesting, unusual things you've done..outside of mining, flying, walking, collecting resources.
