NR200 Owner's Thread

Undecided on which colour at the moment and leaning towards air cooled at the moment, if i decided to go water, then i would go with the Fractal Design water cooler, as it looks like you dont have to download any software, like nzxt makes you use, unless i am wrong though.

And so it all begins, managed to bag myself a Corsair SF750 750 Watt Fully Modular Platinium SFX PSU, ready for this built.

That's what I'm doing. If you want the best air cooler the Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black just fits but only with the Mesh not TG.

I'll be using the my Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi with TG panel.


Buying 2 of these fans for the bottom as intake

Not if you're like me and wait for the NR200 (non-P). Cheaper, but does not come with Tempered Glass panel nor with GPU riser. However, it comes with 92mm + 120mm fan instead of 2x 120mm.
I just want the black case with the perforated side, dont need all the extras.

Tests so far show that is the best cooling performance anyway. Tempered glass is nice for looks though if you go for that instead.

Pretty sure the NR200 isn't coming to Europe. Only the NR200P.

That refers to the NR200P.

Cooler Master aren't releasing both SKUs in all countries. And as yet, only the NR200P is up for pre-order in the UK (and, AFAIK, the rest of Europe). Pretty sure one of the CM reps confirmed that the NR200 isn't coming to Europe, but I can't remember which forum it was written on now :rolleyes:
 
It was to keep the costs down. Not an oversight.

There was something I read somewhere about a different I/O panel being an accessory later.

For me personally, I wouldn't use it anyway, so it's no drama

Amazon has a page for both versions, just unknown when available at this point. So we'll see what comes out next month. I don't have an ITX board yet, so not in a rush really.

I'm now looking a this case for my next build. I'll be going from an X99 E-ATX, HAF XB EVO based system to a Ryzen 4000 mini-ITX so quite a change :)

No rush for a pre-order as I'll wait for the X670 chipset.

A lot of people want this case.

Theres a little confusion over some of the exact clearances for things.

There's a little confusion over availability. When is stock arriving? Is the NR200 releasing over here, or just the NR200P?

There's some disappointment over the clearances for air coolers, given how close the case is to accommodating the absolute top performing air coolers.

But in overall, a lot of excitement. People have been waiting on a case like this for ages. A few cases have come close and just missed the mark slightly. But the general consensus seems to be that CM have absolutely nailed it; a great mass market SFF case which does the things people want in 2020 (unlike, say, Silverstone's SG13, which is excellent for what it is, but is showing its age).

For compatibility and clearance:
I have had a couple questions regarding some of the above on Reddit. I think mainly its regarding clearance with custom water cooling setups.
I'll speak to our case designer and see if he can put some time away to answer questions here directly, otherwise If any questions come up from here out i will try gather the info and reply.

For availability:
As Overclockers are our launch partners, they get dibs on incoming stock. Out first batch is anticipated to arrive first week of August but we recently migrated systems to i'm unable to gather an exact date. Just bear in mind it comes to our European warehouse and then from there to UK/Overclockers. Hopefully no issue with customers shall arise and we'll have updates next week Monday (or sooner if i can)

We only intend to launch the NR200P but I can see there is a few requests for the NR200. Leave this with me and I will see if we can allocate a small batch to arrive to UK.

Otherwise, I will keep en eye on the forums from here on out and hopefully can answer as much as possible. My time is stretched thin so apologies in advance if there is some delays but i'll do my best :)

Thanks for popping in and answering some questions, I have a white one on pre order with OCUK and I'm trying to get parts together for the build, I would love to know if the TG panel clearances are exact or of there is some leeway because its so close yet so far from supporting a decent 120mm tower cooler

No need to say thanks! We're happy to help and honestly listening to the feedback is super important. Also thankyou on the pre-order too!

I look after the channel side of things so its a little different for me hearing the more technical feedback but I can always pass it on and/or get tie right people listening plus i'm curious too.
I will have one (maybe both) case designers join the forums tomorrow for sure and then we can really dig into the technical questions.

Regarding your question, I've seen a Hyper 212 Black installed and you can actually see this too with a review from Techtesters on Youtube (Skip to 7:17: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Boh1uxgcp_8&t=1s) which should give you an idea of how it will look with this setup :)
Dimensions for Hyper 212 Black are: (L X W X H) 120 x 79.6 x 158.8 mm
But, lets keep that question for the designers to give more weight :)

Thanks, there is another part of the video where she shows that she can't close the side properly with that cooler fitted, I'll happily buy a 212 black edition of it will definitely fit with no mods or issues but I'm fairly sure there is another part of the video where she shows the glass won't actually fit properly with a 212 fitted
